Torre Chianca
Torre Chianca is located along the Adriatic coast of the Salento in Puglia, near Lecce. It takes its name from the sixteenth century tower located on its coast. The area is made of long sandy beaches and, inland, by the presence of two basins, Idume and Fetida. At a short distance from the coast, visible deep in the sea, there are some interesting archaeological remains, including some columns, dating back to the second century AD.
Torre Chianca can be reached from the SS613 that runs from Brindisi to Lecce or directly from Lecce by taking the SP131.
