Beaches of Tricase
Marina di Tricase
Marina di Tricase is located along the Adriatic coast of the Salento in Puglia, near the town of Tricase. Along the Marina of Tricase is located a port bordered on the south by the district of Marina Serra and, to the north, by a promontory on which stands the Torre del Sasso. Marina Serra is characterized by a high rocky coast, with cliffs overlooking the sea. The coastline is dotted with very suggestive small bays, often only accessible by sea. The Torre del Sasso, located on a hill of 116 meters above sea level, was built, like all the other towers of Salento, to protect the coast from the attacks of the Turks and Saracens. Marina di Tricase can be reached by taking the SP78 from Tricase town or by following the seaside road SP358 that runs along the Adriatic coast of Salento.
