Lequile
Lequile is an ancient town already inhabited by the Romans. It seems that during the Roman rule a centurion with the name of Leculo constructed here a villa around which other constructions were built forming a small town.
Lequile contains the beautiful Church of San Nicola, with a XVII century facade and a dome covered with multi-coloured tiles.
Among other churches the Mother Church dedicated to Maria SS Assunta, built in 1746, and the Church of San Vito, built between 1661 and 1670.
