Martina Franca DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) wine is produced in the area of Martina Franca, in province of Taranto, in the territories of Crispiano and Alberobello, and part of the territories of Ceglie Messapica and Ostuni.
Martina DOP is a white wine produced in two types: 'Martina Bianco' and 'Martina Spumante'.
It is made using Verdeca grapes, from 50% to 65%, Bianco d'Alessano grapes, from 35% to 50%, and in smaller quantities, and to a maximum of 5%, Bombino Bianco, Fiano and Malvasia Bianca grapes.

Martina Bianco DOP is a dry and firm wine, with a delicate pleasant and fruity bouquet - with hints of bitter almonds, apple and white flowers, and a dry and delicate taste.
Martina Bianco should be served at a temperature between 8 and 10 degrees.
Pairing
Martina Franca Bianco pairs well with all types of fish such as shellfish appetizers, seafood, baked or boiled fish, risotto and pasta with fish sauce. Also with vegetables, omelettes and fresh cheese.
