Orta Nova (Foggia)
Orta Nova DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) wine is produced in the territories of Orta Nova, Ordona, Carapelle, Ascoli Satriano, Foggia and Manfredonia, all in province of Foggia.
Orta Nova is a wine produced only in red and rosé version with Sangiovese grapes, for a minimum of 60%. This can be mixed, for a maximum of 40%, with Nero di Troia, Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes.

Orta Nova Rosso is a wine with a pleasant and balanced aroma and a dry and full-bodied flavour.
Orta Nova Rosato wine has a pleasant and dry bouquet and a fresh and balanced taste.
Orta Nova Rosso should be served at 18 degrees.
The Rosato version is served at a temperature between 12 and 14 degrees.
Pairing
Orta Nova Rosso pairs very well with grilled meats, stews and meat sauces.
Orta Nova Rosato pairs well with grilled meat, spicy sausage, chicken and roasted rabbit, seasoned sheep cheeses.
