Grape type: White

Verdeca is a white grape vine widespread in areas of the Itria valley and in the territory of the town of Gravina. Its origin is uncertain, but the name of "Verdeca Gravina" was already mentioned in 1629.

It is a grape vine that produces wines of a pale yellow colour, with a delicate and fruity aroma, with hints of pineapple. The taste is dry, fruity, fresh and with a good persistence.
