Aleatico di Puglia is a DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) wine produced in the whole region of Puglia.
The Aleatico wine is made mainly with Aleatico grapes. The remaining part can be made of Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia grapes.
The Aleatico Riserva di Puglia must have at minimum ageing period of two years.

The Aleatico di Puglia can be of two types: Dolce Naturale and Liquoroso Dolce Naturale.
The first one is a wine with a delicate aroma and a sweet velvety flavour.
The Liquoroso Dolce Naturale is characterized by a delicate and intense aroma and a sweet, full and pleasant taste.
Aleatico di Puglia should be served at a temperature between 14 and 16 degrees.
Aleatico di Puglia pairs well with cakes, pastries and desserts made with chocolate.
